How to edit the school cover

School settings - Basic settings - Cover

The title

The title is displayed in white capital letters aligned in the center of the cover. If you leave the field blank, nothing will appear in its place. The title does not have to match the name of the school. The name of the school is configured on the "Information" tab.

The description

The description is displayed in white letters below the title. The description is case-sensitive and aligned in the center of the cover. If you leave the field blank, nothing will appear in its place.

Cover image

When you click on the image, a window opens for uploading a new cover. When you point the cursor over the uploaded image, the "Delete" button appears in the lower-right corner. After deleting the cover, a black background will be displayed instead of the cover.

Align

Allows you to set the image alignment to one edge or in the center.

Height

Sets the height of the cover relative to the screen size. If set at 0%, the school cover is not displayed on the main page of the school. If the cover is uploaded, the course cards are laid on the cover background. 

Fade

Sets the degree of darkening of the cover in %. When darkened to 0%, the image is displayed unchanged, and when darkened to 100%, the black cover is displayed.

The size of the cover

There is no recommended cover size, as there exist multiple screens with different resolutions and aspect ratios. The height of the cover as a percentage of the screen is configured in the settings, and the width is adjusted automatically.

Preview

A preview is available at the bottom of the cover settings page on the right. In this window, you can see how the cover will look on the main page of the school (in accordance with the specified settings).

Where the school cover is displayed

The school cover is displayed on the main page of the school between the header and the course cards.

The school cover is also displayed as a background image for the course cards (if you use a direct link to the course from the “Embed” tab).

How to change the school cover

When clicking on the image, a window opens for uploading a new cover. When you point the cursor over the uploaded image, the "Delete" button appears in the lower-right corner. After deleting the cover, a black background will be displayed instead of the cover.
